There is much we need to go to the Lord for in these days, and because our trust and hope is in Him, we invite you to be part of a PAOC National Prayer Gathering on Sunday January 17, 2021 beginning at 7 p.m. ET (Eastern Time) for 75 minutes.
As we all continue to navigate life during a pandemic, facing restrictions and certain hardships, we also have much to celebrate, as we prepare for a humble, yet meaningful Christmas season.
While our premises are currently closed, our hearts still need to experience the joy and wonder of Christmas that our connection through the body of Christ affords. You are therefore cordially invited to participate in LCA’s annual Christmas Carols, Cookies and Cocoa AND Caring!
Bake some cookies, pull out a holiday sweater, concoct a unique hot chocolate blend, and plan to join us for a great evening of music and fellowship, on Sunday, December 20 at 7:00 PM! On this night, we will gather virtually and spend some quality, festive time rejoicing in the birth of our Saviour, and in simple holiday traditions that add cheer.
Sunday, December 20 at 7:00 PM
Everyone is welcome to attend!
You (and your household) also have the opportunity to participate in several different ways:
Would you like to present a Christmas song or musical piece that evening, live or pre-recorded?
Would you like to read a Christmas verse or quote, live during the event?
Would you be willing to record a Christmas song or musical piece to be shared with residents at a long-term care facility (CHSLD)?
Volunteers are currently not permitted entry in our long-term care homes, significantly reducing staff’s capacity to offer leisure activities. As we celebrate together, technology offers us a great opportunity to share His love and light with others in the community.
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please email us directly. Dawn or Renée Robitaille will be happy to reach out and connect with you to go over the details of song preparation, Scripture reading, or video recording.
As the date approaches, a Zoom link and collective songbook for the evening will be shared.
If you would like to receive the link and get latest information please subscribe to LCA Church Updates.
We look forward to collaborating and celebrating with you.
See Brian Olton to complete your purchase. The cost is $20 per ticket (cash). As tickets are selling VERY fast, Sunday Feb. 9 is the last day to buy your tickets.
REMINDER: IF YOU RESERVE TICKETS, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR PURCHASE, EVEN IF YOU CHOOSE TO NOT GO TO THE GAME. THANK YOU 🙂

LCA 2019 Annual Christmas Food Drive (in partnership with Agape)
Help support needy families and individuals in Laval, by donating non-perishable food items, to be distributed by Agape as Christmas Baskets in our local community. Just drop your donations off at the designated area in the Café on any given Sunday – you are sure to be a blessing!
Non-perishables can include breakfast, lunch, supper, snacks, baking, household items and new toys.
Agape is a non-profit community organization serving the English-speaking and multicultural families of Laval.
Nov. 17 to Dec. 8: Drop off your weekly non-perishables for the LCA Christmas basket food drive.
Don’t hesitate to see Isabelle Duguay or Dawn or Renée Robitaille should you have any questions.
Thank you for your generosity this Christmas season!
Ideas of non-perishable donations to get you thinking
Please remember that all non-perishables must be donated in their original packaging, in good condition, and the Best Before date must not be expired.
We have received a special request for canned meats to ensure all food baskets have sufficient sources of protein.
